Transcription: Text-based predefined entities are very nice. You can look at a GT and associate that with a greater than symbol, an LT and associate that with a less than symbol. However, there aren't too many text-based predefined entities and there may be a whole lot of characters that you want to insert, either because you have the character code, it's a non-standard character, or you want to just use the hex value. Well, you can do that using predefined entities as well.
